Ready to Return – Hospitality


This package is suitable for those returning to work in the Hospitality industry after lockdown and furlough. It will help to increase confidence in the return to the workplace for the individual, focus on delivering great customer service which will give confidence to customers and ensure that food safety knowledge is up-to-date.

The log in details for the Food Safety in Catering Level 2 qualification will be emailed to candidates on booking. The Returning to Work With Confidence course will consist of a 1:1 initial session followed by a 3-hour group session held virtually over Microsoft Teams or Zoom and the SQA Award in Customer Service will be delivered virtually over 1 day or 2 half-day sessions.

Guided Learning Hours

This course will be run over six hours. It can be delivered in one day or split over two half-day sessions.

Form of Assessment

Delegates will generate evidence which demonstrates they have achieved all Outcomes and Performance Criteria for the Unit. A mixture of written and oral evidence will be gathered contained within the Learner Support Pack. Role Play will also be used as an assessment instrument.

Guided Learning Hours

Approximately 75 minutes are required for this course.

Form of Assessment

A short test concludes each module. A passmark of 75% for each module is required to successfully pass the course.
