Online Hospitality – Kitchen Skills


This package is suitable for those wishing to get into a role in a kitchen in hospitality or for those who are already working in the industry but who would like to progress by gaining formal qualifications.

Candidates will learn about how a kitchen is structured, the different types of knives and how to handle them safely, the different cuts of meat and poultry and herbs and spices and the importance of following food safe working practices. They will learn about Health and Safety and safe lifting and handling techniques as well as the latest food trends.

Form of Assessment

A short test concludes the learning within each module. A passmark of 80% is required to successfully pass the course.

On successful completion of each module, candidates will Flow Learning certificates endorsed by CPD, The Institute of Hospitality, RoSPA and IIRSM.
