Everyone starting work in the health or social care sector should complete the Care Certificate. This course has been designed to support employees and learners as they undertake the Care Certificate as part of their staff induction programme. The course content has been written by leading experts in the field of health and social care and learners will cover the required 15 standards.
It has also received official endorsement from Skills for Care and is mapped to units on the Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) relating to health and social care qualifications, meaning learners can use the standards they have completed as recognised prior learning.
Please note that if you would like to obtain competency sign off for the Care Certificate, you will need to arrange this through your employer. You can only achieve the knowledge element of the course online.
Approximately 30 – 60 minutes per standard.
A short test concludes each module.
This online Food Safety Package is is designed for supervisors and first line managers working in the food industry as well as small business owners responsible for running their premises and ensuring their staff are working safely and to the expected standards.
The package includes the following online courses endorsed by the Institute of Hospitality, Gatehouse Awards, International Institute of Risk and Safety Management and CPD:
• Allergen Awareness
• Introduction to Risk Assessment
• Supervising Food Safety Level 3
A total of 12 CPD units will be gained on completion of this package.
This package is suitable for those who are working in, or wish to progress to, a Management or Leadership role in any sector, by gaining formal qualifications.

This package is suitable for those wishing to get into the Childcare sector or for those who are already working in the industry but who would like to progress by gaining formal qualifications. It is also suitable for those who are working in Family Visitor Attractions.
The log in details for the Food Safety in Catering Level 2 qualification will be emailed to candidates on booking. Candidates will attend the classroom-based Paediatric Emergency First Aid course.
