This online Food Safety Package is suitable for anyone working in the food production or catering industry who wish to progress by gaining a formal certificate, or for those intending to work within the industry.
The package includes the following online courses endorsed by the Institute of Hospitality, Gatehouse Awards, International Institute of Risk and Safety Management and CPD:

A total of 8 CPD units will be gained on completion of this package.
The duration of the courses within this package vary between 75 minutes and 100 minutes.
A short test concludes each module within the courses. A passmark of 70% for each module is required to successfully pass the course.

Endorsed by Skills for Care
Everyone starting work in the health or social care sector should complete the Care Certificate. This course has been designed to support employees and learners as they undertake the Care Certificate as part of their staff induction programme. The course content has been written by leading experts in the field of health and social care and learners will cover the required 15 standards.
It has also received official endorsement from Skills for Care and is mapped to units on the Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) relating to health and social care qualifications, meaning learners can use the standards they have completed as recognised prior learning.
Please note that if you would like to obtain competency sign off for the Care Certificate, you will need to arrange this through your employer. You can only achieve the knowledge element of the course online.
This package is suitable for those wishing to get into a role in housekeeping in hospitality or for those who are already working in the industry but who would like to progress by gaining formal qualifications.
Candidates will learn the best practice for a hotel housekeeper, how to prepare a room to the highest standard while following health and safety guidance, and explore how to deal with requests and complaints. They will gain an awareness of first aid and disability, fire safety procedures, COSHH procedures and guest service, as well as how to look after their own wellbeing.
