REHIS Scottish Certificate For Personal Licence Holders – SCQF Level 6

The REHIS Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders is designed principally for those who work or want to work as a Personal Licence Holder. The qualification meets the requirements of the legislation Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 and will support an application for a Personal Licence.

The course is designed to be completed over 6 hours online learning. Candidates are issued with the course handbook and log in details for the online course. On completion of the course, arrangements will be made for the exam.

There is a single examination for this certificate comprising of 40 multiple-choice questions. The exam can be invigilated virtually over Zoom or MS Teams or face-to-face. The duration of the examination is 60 minutes. Certificates will be awarded to those candidates who achieve 28 marks or more. Candidates who score 27 marks or below will be given the opportunity to re-sit the examination.

Highfield STARS – Scottish Training for Alcohol Retailers and Servers

This course is ideal for those who need to acquire the 2 hour mandatory training for alcohol regulations in Scotland.

Any business licensed to sell alcohol, including small pubs, retailers, large night clubs, cafés, restaurants, hotels and sports facilities, is required by law to provide staff with approved training. After completing this online training, your Scotland based alcohol retail and serving staff will have the certificate they need to legally sell and serve alcohol.

Please note that in order to open this course a Scottish Personal Licence Holder sign-in is required.

The manager will need to provide the Personal Licence Holder Name, Personal Licence Number, and the name of the issuing licensing board.

This is a requirement of the training provision under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.

The qualification meets the requirements of the legislation Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.

The course is designed to be completed over 3 hours online learning. Candidates are issued with the course handbook and log in details for the online course. On completion of the course, arrangements will be made for the exam.

There is a single examination for this certificate comprising of 40 multiple-choice questions. The exam can be invigilated virtually over Zoom or MS Teams or face-to-face. Highfield Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) (England and Wales)

The qualification is designed for those learners working in, or preparing to work in, any industry that involves the retail sale of alcohol in England or Wales. It is a prerequisite for anyone who wishes to hold a personal licence. Anyone wishing to sell or authorise the sale of alcohol by retail on licensed premises must hold a personal licence.

Learners gaining this qualification will understand the main requirements of the Licensing Act 2003, the importance of promoting the licensing objectives and the legal responsibilities of a personal licence holder.

This course is compatible with most popular desktops and tablets. Mobile phones are not recommended.

This qualification is approved for delivery to learners aged 16 or above. However, a Personal Licence cannot be applied for until the age of 18.

LASER Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) (England and Wales)

The Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders is designed principally for those who work or want to work as a Personal Licence Holder in England or Wales. The qualification meets the requirements of the legislation Licensing Act 2003 and will support an application for a Personal Licence.

On successful completion of the learning, candidates register to sit the Laser Learning Awards Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders exam which will be required to apply for their Personal Licence.

The examination will be delivered directly to the candidate via the internet and invigilated using screen sharing and web cam. There is a single examination for this certificate comprising of 40 multiple-choice questions. The duration of the examination is 60 minutes. Certificates will be awarded to those candidates who achieve 28 marks or more. Candidates who score 27 marks or below will be given the opportunity to re-sit the examination.
