Food Safety (10)
Food Handlers and their employers have a legal duty to manage Food Safety. These obligations are set out by a number of EU and UK Laws. These Laws state that food handlers must make sure that food which is prepared, cooked, served or sold, is safe for human consumption. Failing to follow food safety standards can cause food to become contaminated with potentially fatal consequences.
Training your employees with our online system will go a long way to give them greater awareness of the dangers that poor food safety standards pose, as well as covering how food safety risks actually arise and how to control and prevent them.
Our courses are approved by CPD and RoSPA.
Health and Safety Courses (2)
The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 requires employers to provide whatever information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety at work of employees.
This is expanded by the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, which identify situations where health and safety training is particularly important, eg when people start work, on exposure to new or increased risks and where existing skills may have become rusty or need updating.
We have available a broad range of relevant online and classroom based courses to meet requirements of the legislation.
Train the Trainer Courses (2)
Our Train the Trainer qualifications are designed for supervisors and managers who are responsible for training their team, for experienced trainers who would like to update their skills and knowledge or for individuals who would like to learn how to professionally deliver high quality training to groups.
Alcohol Licensing Courses (6)
Our Alcohol Licensing Qualifications support those working in the licensed trade in Scotland, England and Wales. They allow individuals to show that they can work responsibly and that they understand how the licensing process applies to their job.
These qualifications are based on the National Standards for Personal Licence Holders and Staff Training and meet the mandatory qualification and training requirements of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, the Alcohol etc. (Scotland) Act 2010 and the Licensing Act 2003.
First Aid (4)
Employers and providers of care services must provide adequate and appropriate first-aid equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure employees or those in their care receive immediate attention if they are injured or take ill.
Since 1 October 2013 HSE no longer approves first-aid training and qualifications or first-aid training organisations. This means that businesses have more flexibility in how they manage their provision of first aid in the workplace.
